Our goal at the Waitsfield Wine Shoppe is to provide the people of the Mad River Valley and its surrounding areas with the finest hand selected wines from small producers around the world. Every wine is tasted and personally selected. We maintain a constant temperature in the store year round in order to store the wine in the correct manner.

We take the same care in selecting our everyday priced wines as we do our higher end selections. We provide each customer with expert, down to earth guidance on wine selections that are just right for their menu, occasion, or events.

If you are looking for a particular wine, chances are you will find it here. With close to 800 different facings, the largest selection in the State of Vermont, our inventory consists of:

This wine comes from the Fernando Po area in South of Portugal. It is made from two traditional Portuguese varietals, 30% Castelao and 30% Touriga Nacional with 20% of both Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon added. It is elegant and smooth and can be served with many meat dishes and cheeses.
